The Library is a growing resource bank designed to support golf club managers. It contains a range of useful operational documents commonly used in club management—for example, a Management Plan for Health & Safety in the Workplace.

Alongside these templates, you’ll also find helpful publications and articles to support professional knowledge development. These resources are intended not only to help managers run their clubs effectively, but also to give them the confidence to lead and take action in their day-to-day roles.

Planning

Planning is a vital part of successful club management. Golf clubs are commercial operations, and managers face many challenges in guiding them toward a sustainable future.

This section of the website is designed to support managers by providing comprehensive information and practical working papers on some of the bigger issues we all encounter.

Over time, the CMA NZ Board will commission additional papers on topics of value to the wider club community. We welcome input from managers—if there are subjects you’d like to see covered, please feel free to make suggestions.

The first resource we’ve included focuses on the important subject of Strategic Planning. Alongside this, the Business Planning documents demonstrate how long-range planning can be approached using the resources provided. Together, these planning papers offer a wide range of information designed for general use across clubs.
