The Association

The Association brings together more than 180 golf club managers and administrators from across New Zealand. Recognizing the unique challenges faced in club management, it has several key objectives:

  • Providing a platform for members to share views, experiences, and information through forums
  • Offering study grants to support ongoing professional development
  • Representing the interests of members at both national and district levels

Beyond these objectives, the Association has fostered a strong sense of camaraderie among its members. For those who actively participate, it has become a valuable source of support, connection, and shared learning.

Courses

The CMAA's BMI programme is an in-demand and flourishing series of week-long courses that have produced more than 11,000 graduates and is one of the most respected educational initiatives in the golf club management industry. Each programme is an intensive learning experience employing the latest teaching methodology, real-life examples and pertinent collateral information in a structured academic environment. Benefiting from the expertise of professors, industry experts and experienced club managers, students delve into the myriad topics that make club management such a fascinating profession.
