The Library is a non exhaustive resource "bank" of a number of useful operational documents typically used in golf club management such as an example of a Management Plan for Health & Safety in the Workplace as well as helpful and informative publications and articles to assist managers in knowledge development not only operating their clubs in a professional manner but also to lead and initiate actions with confidence on a day to day basis. An example of the latter is what "Sustainability" means for golf clubs.

Planning

Planning is an integral part of the club management process. A club is a commercial operation and managers face many challenges . The purpose of this section of the web site is to provide managers with comprehensive information and working papers on some of the bigger issues we all face.

Over time the GMANZ board will commission further "Papers" on subjects of value to all. We will actively seek input on subject matter and managers should feel free to make suggestions regarding subjects which they feel should be covered.

The first document we have included covers the important subject of "Strategic Planning". The Business Planning documents set out to show how long-range information planning can be done with these resources that have been made available to you. The compilation of these comprehensive planning documents contains a range of information designed for general use in clubs.
