How to join CLUB MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION OF NEW ZEALAND

Membership may take the form of any one of the three following categories in accordance with the Rules (Constitution) of the Association and is available to management employees of Clubs, NSO’s RSO’s and also to companies or to Club Board or Committee members:

1. Ordinary Member:

A person who is a Manager or a paid employee of a:-

• Club duly incorporated under the Societies Act 1908
• A Company duly incorporated under the Companies Act 1993
• An NSO or a RSO

2024/2025 Subscriptions:

Clubs with 1000+ members $825.00 + GST

Clubs with 500-999 members $550.00 + GST

Clubs with up to 499 members$275.00 + GST

Clubs with an extra member $ 175.00 + GST

2. Associate Member:

A person who

- is a current Club Board or Committee member

- has previously been an Ordinary Member but who is no longer employed in a position that would qualify him/her to be an Ordinary Member.

- is a BMI course student

Subscription $275.00 + GST

3. Supplier

A supplier to the golf industry.

$500.00+GST

4. Life Member:

On the recommendation of the National Executive a person who is considered to have rendered outstanding service to the Association over a long period may be elected a Life Member by General Meeting of Members.

Applicants for categories 1 & 2 may apply Online under the Application button and provided they meet the criteria above, membership is automatic - there is no formal nomination process. An annual subscription is payable against invoice to the national secretariat.

It is recommended that intending applicants attend a regional meeting of one of the six branches to obtain and ascertain the benefits of membership and values of the Association prior to formally joining.
